Your request did not specify whether you are looking for school employees as well, so please note that the records provided are for non-school City employees only.
The City does not maintain records to the following portions of your request: electronic table(s) of the City employees’ (work) mailing addresses and phone numbers. To the extent you requested employees’ home mailing addresses, please note that such information would be exempt pursuant to R.I. Gen. Laws § 38-2-2(4)(A)(I)(b) as personnel records, the disclosure of which would constitute a clearly unwarranted invasion of personal privacy.
In accordance with R.I. Gen. Laws § 38-2-8, you may wish to appeal this decision to the Chief Administrative Officer. In this instance, Jim Silveria, Chief Information Officer, fulfills that role. You also may wish to file a complaint with the Department of the Attorney General or the Rhode Island Superior Court.
